An integrated office calendar is an invaluable resource for any company. With most providers you can plan your time, see how colleagues and employees are planning their time (controlling who can see what) and sync your calendar with your mobile phone.

You can add meetings and other engagements and decide what people who view your calendar can see, some activities can remain private although people can know you are busy. Some services will sync seamlessly with MS Outlook others will have limited Outlook Integration. All services provide an online equivalent of the desktop application. People can invite you to meetings through their calendars, generate emails with the details on which you can put directly into your calendar. You can set reminders for these events. For products with web conferencing facilities you can use your calendar to send invites and links which can be stored directly on your calendar. When the meeting or conference is due a simple click on a link in your calendar will take you directly to the online meeting.
