Google Apps aims to provide users with seamless access to information regardless of location or device. Google Apps supports access to Gmail, Google Calendar, Docs, and Contacts from most common types of mobile devices.

Google Apps Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server

Wireless synchronization between your BlackBerry and Gmail inbox.

Two-way wireless synchronization from Google Calendar to your BlackBerry, including the ability to accept/decline meetings, schedule new meetings, move meeting times, add/remove attendees.

Google Apps Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server is available free of charge to customers of Google Apps Premier Edition and Education Edition. Customers of Premier and Education Edition can get started with the Apps Connector.

Windows 2003 Server SP2 (approximately 500MB of server disk space per user) and BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1 Service Pack 6 Maintenance Release 5 or higher.

Google Apps on BlackBerry smartphones

Gmail

To download the free Gmail for mobile application, visit m.google.com/mail from your BlackBerry web browser. Then, launch the application with the red "M" icon from your BlackBerry home screen or from the applications folder. If you also have a personal @gmail.com account, you can add it to this application so you can access both Gmail and Google Apps email accounts from the same place.

Google Calendar

You can sync information in Google Calendar with your BlackBerry calendar, so whether you add new appointments from your phone or from your computer, you always have access to your up-to-date schedule. To download and install Google Sync for free, visit m.google.com/sync from your BlackBerry web browser.

Contacts

Google Sync also now offers two-way synchronization between your BlackBerry's built-in address book and your Google Apps contacts automatically over the air. To use Google Sync or upgrade from the older version, visit m.google.com/sync from your BlackBerry browser.

Google Talk

There's a handy Google Talk application that lets you see who's online and instant message with contacts from your BlackBerry. To download and install Google Talk for free, visit www.blackberry.com/GoogleTalk from your BlackBerry web browser. Then, launch the application with the Google Talk icon from your BlackBerry home screen or from the applications folder.

Google Docs

To access your documents and spreadsheets when you're not at a computer, you can sign in to Google Docs from your BlackBerry web browser. Just visit docs.google.com/a/example.com, but remember to replace "example.com" in this address with your actual domain name.

Google Apps for Android-powered phones

Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk and Contacts

On some Android-powered devices, (for instance the T-Mobile G1) Google applications come pre-installed. Access these apps by tapping their icons. When setting up the phone, make sure to log in using the username and password for your domain, and your content will be automatically synced on the go.

These apps are also available in a single, streamlined web interface, where you can seamlessly switch between applications. Bookmark http://www.google.com/m/a/example.com from your browser and add a shortcut icon to your homescreen by long-pressing and selecting the 'shortcut' then 'bookmark' options. But don't forget, you'll have to replace "example.com" with your actual domain name.

Google Apps on the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch

These apps are available with a streamlined web interface, where you can easily bookmark a single web address and seamlessly switch between applications. Gmail, Google Calendar and Contacts on pre-installed applications

You can connect to your iPhone or iPod Touch's Mail application to Gmail using Google Sync.

Google Sync

Google Sync offers two-way synchronization between your calendar, contacts and email on the iPhone or iPod Touch and Google Apps. Updates are done automatically. Whether you update appointments and contacts from your mobile device or from your computer, you always have access to up-to-date information. Google Sync also offers controls for administrators to help ensure corporate policy enforcement across a range of mobile devices.

Google Talk

You can instant message from your iPhone with Google Talk, too. Bookmark http://talkgadget.google.com/a/example.com/talkgadget/m from your iPhone's browser, but remember to replace "example.com" with your actual domain name.

You may be able to sync your calendar events with your phone.

Alternatively, you can check your calendar, add events and get appointment reminders with text messages.

You may be able to sync your contacts with your phone.
